| Alright, about the bot-fishing thread.
First, my thinking was to make it similar to a forum game thread. All those running threads like 'name a secret of the person above you' etc.
Except you'll be trying to think up keywords that'll bring in the most bots. One keyword per post, and since people'll prolly go overboard a bit and it won't really harm anyone, no penalties.
Google and other search bots are our main goal.
However, inevitably, we'll catch the eyes of spam bots as well.
They will register. They will spam. Given a chance they will overrun.
Asside from somehow restricting the registration process with some kind of question (like what is 3 +2), we can add a new members group.
The basic group that everyone falls into upon joining remains unchanged but has its posting permissions limited to only one forum. Anyone that posts an introduction of themselves in that forum is upgraded to 'true member' group and can post anywhere. Spam bots obviously can't introduce themselves, so they can stay in limbo FOREVAR!
